Original creations, inspired-by collections and bespoke perfumery serve different purposes. This guide explains the house’s current naming architecture.
The collection names describe the type and role of a release. They should not be read as a guarantee that every collection or product is currently available to order. The Maison website and its official channels carry release and availability information.
Maison 1712 ORIGINALS
Core original fragrances
The permanent core of the house’s original perfumery, intended to establish its main olfactory identity.
Maison 1712 PRIVÉ
Prestige original fragrances
An elevated tier of house-created original perfumes. PRIVÉ is not the bespoke umbrella and is not necessarily limited.
Maison 1712 AZARA
French × Middle Eastern collection
The collection combining French perfumery influence with Middle Eastern character.

Inspired-by fragrances
Maison interpretations inspired by recognised fragrances, clearly distinguished from the house’s original creations.

Original, inspired-by or bespoke?
ORIGINALS are the house’s own core creations. INSPIRATIONS identifies the inspired-by range, rather than presenting it as the original fragrance from another brand. CRÉATION describes the personalised development of a client’s fragrance. PRIVÉ is a prestige-originals tier, not another name for bespoke work.
A fragrance family is not always a shop category.
Developmental work and historical reference pieces have different roles from products released for sale. The group does not present internal prototypes or archive formulas as generally available retail products.
